Prehistory Timeline

 Launching the Initiative “Network of International Model Scientific-educational Production Centre's of Sustainable Development” developed by Vladimir Petrov and Marina Avakian. 

The Initiative was approved by the UN Commission on Sustainable

Development and placed on the UN website as the best education initiative from Russia.

Participating in UN conferences and forums dedicated to sustainable development:

• World Summit on Sustainable Development held under the aegis of the UN and took place from August, 26 to September 4, 2002 in Johannesburg (South Africa).
• International Forum of Partnerships for Sustainable Development at FAO Headquarters, Rome, Italy on 4-6, March 2004 organized by the Italian Ministry for Environment and Territory in cooperation with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN/DESA).
• Presented Sustainability Through Synergy: Network of International Model Scientific-educational Production Centers of Sustainable Development at Second World Urban Forum (Barcelona, 13-17, September 2004) organized by the UN, UNESCO, UN-Habitat and the Government of Catalonia, Spain. 

Conducting teacher training on new methodology of holistic education (Supporting Scheme System, Collaborative Method of Teaching) at Anand Niketan Satellite and Shilaj campuses, in Ahmedabad, India,  by Vladimir Petrov and Marina Avakian.
